To date, HSK has generally been extremely helpful and receptive to my questions and needs. To get what I wanted, in an effort to garner national attention for my writing, it cost a lot of money but it was an amount I was able to afford. I'm looking forward to where my books will be in about six months, once the NY Times and LA Times ads and the Times Square ads and HSK's marketing plans take more effect. In three months since Boundless was published, HSK has turned it into a #1 bestseller on Kindle. Lisa Smith has been exceptional to work with, as has Connor Stewart. Their cover teams are excellent, and I've had the perfect amount of input in them. They print and send my copies in a timely fashion. We've had some issues with the audiobook person, but that should now be resolving. The only other negative was the first person I was assigned to did not seem very involved or responsive, but that was early on and I can't even remember his name. If I could anything about the past with HSK, I would probably opt not to buy merchandise from them and use VistaPrint instead as they are much cheaper, in all honesty. Bottom line is I'm very happy so far with my experience with HSK, and in a sense cannot wait to see how my sales are in a year from now. I'm also excited to see and give input into the proposed screenplay for one of my novels.
